Duración del proyecto: 2022-2023

DESCRIPTION

Europe is increasingly promoting the use of digital tools among entrepreneurs. For this reason, the “NoCode4Business” Incubation Program has been created, with the aim of training them to create their pilots and promote the use of no-code tools.
On this occasion, we have worked together with other entities from countries belonging to the European Union:

  • From Palermo (Italy), IRSEI The Research Institute for Development, Economy and Innovation.
  • From Timisoara (Romania), Fundația EOS.
  • From Madrid (Spain) as program managers and coordinators, CINK VENTURING.

For this program, a work framework of 18 months divided into 5 different phases was stipulated. Each of these phases includes different actions whose execution has been carried out in each member country of the project.

CHALLENGE

As mentioned above, the main challenges of the project are:

On the one hand, the realization of a general analysis of the current situation of no-code throughout Europe, with special emphasis on the countries where the program is implemented. For this purpose, different sources have been investigated and a search for information and interviews have been carried out with local experts who were able to give their unique vision on this subject.

Moreover, based on this research work, a search for key levers and tools was carried out, which were then brought to the entrepreneurs of the three countries during the program to improve their competencies with respect to these resources and thus validate the training packages that are the last goal of this project. As a result, entrepreneurs from all over Europe were able to get started with no-code tools.

Finally, the realization of conceptual pilots.

SOLUTION

To solve these challenges, a divided process with several purposes is proposed:

  1. A preliminary documentary research on the state of the art of no-code and its best practices has been carried out. For this first phase, a kick-off meeting was held in Timisoara, where the methodology to be followed was defined and the information to be delivered in the constitution manual of this first activity was defined.
  2. Initial training elements on no-code were developed with an eminent focus on prototyping, digital communication and marketing, and automation and scaling of business operations. For this, an initial proposal for the itinerary of activities was made and a first pilot was executed in Palermo to receive feedback from the entrepreneurs.
    3. Three no-code modules were created and tested with selected startups within the European Union. This was carried out in another pilot in Madrid, where their effectiveness in generating the final deliverables was evaluated.
    4. Finally, all the information and documentation collected during the process, as well as the pilots carried out by the participating startups, were made known to the partners of the participating countries. At this meeting, each partner from the different participating countries informs entrepreneurs, experts and interested parties of all the relevant information about no-code tools to give greater visibility.

IMPACT

With the implementation of this innovative European program, the following results have been obtained:

  • 18 months of dedication to the project
  • 3 countries involved
  • +38 startups interviewed
  • 9 interviews with experts and best practices
  • +21 startups have traveled to Palermo and Madrid to implement these tools and test the workshops.
