Design, development and management of the “Emprende +32” Programme by Las Rozas Next

DESCRIPCIÓN

Emprende +32 is an innovation and entrepreneurship programme designed and developed by Cink Venturing, a consultancy specialised in entrepreneurship and innovation, for Las Rozas Next. It is aimed at professionals over the age of 32 with previous work experience who are seeking to reinvent themselves and launch digital ventures.

With a practical and personalised approach, the programme provides key tools to develop innovative projects aligned with technology, the digital economy and new market demands. It comprises nine training sessions and a final practical session, including priority access to the Incuba Las Rozas incubation programme for the projects with the greatest potential.

The goal is to turn accumulated professional experience into a competitive advantage for entrepreneurship, connecting senior talent with the challenges and opportunities of today’s technological environment.

OPORTUNIDAD

Las Rozas Next, an initiative of the Department for Education, Innovation, Economy and Employment of Las Rozas City Council, identified a specific need: to offer strategic support to professionals over 32 who, after years of experience, wish to reinvent themselves and take the leap into digital entrepreneurship.

The challenge was to activate the potential of senior talent, highlight the value of their knowledge and facilitate their integration into the local startup ecosystem. Emprende +32 emerged as a response to this opportunity, reframing experience as a forward-looking asset.

METODOLOGÍA

To address this challenge, Cink Venturing designed a methodology that combines training and access to strategic resources, structured in the following phases:

1. Outreach phase

Before the start of each edition, a communication strategy was implemented to identify and attract profiles that met the programme’s requirements. This phase included:

  • Design of targeted campaigns to attract diverse profiles and highlight the value of the programme, ensuring sustained, high-quality participation in each edition.

2. Evaluation phase

As a result of this outreach work, 245 project proposals were submitted, of which 20 were selected per edition by an evaluation committee that verified compliance with the eligibility criteria.

3. Training phase

The shortlisted projects took part in 10 sessions focused on: entrepreneurial skills and business model design; application of Design Thinking and market analysis; development of competitor maps and product validation; marketing strategies, financial fundamentals and communication planning; techniques to build a persuasive and effective pitch.

PERSONALISED TEACHING METHODOLOGY

  • Specialised training to support strategic decision-making.
  • Improved knowledge and strategic vision for launching and consolidating projects.
  • The projects with the greatest potential gained access to the incubation phase under the Incuba Las Rozas programme.

FINAL SESSION

  • Inspirational talk led by an expert.
  • 5-minute pitch presentation of each business proposal.
  • Networking session to expand contacts and explore collaborations.

IMPACTO

After six editions held between 2021 and 2024, Emprende +32 has become a benchmark in training for senior entrepreneurship, with a 91.94% satisfaction rate (exceeding the minimum 85% required).
